RUN for ITP is the brainchild of Chris Tinnesz. Diagnosed with ITP in 2004, Mr. Tinnesz is an amateur athlete and sports enthusiast who, along with the ITP Foundation, has developed a unique plan of action for battling ITP, a rare bleeding disorder. For every mile Chris Runs for ITP, he is raising funds and awareness for the ITP Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to battling Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura through family assistance programs and the funding of medical research. Run for ITP will formally kick off on January 1, 2009.

Ran 10.79 miles this am to the new Decemberists.
The Decemberists are (by far) the best band nobody's ever heard of.
Radiohead is the best well-known band.
Both bands make The Boss seem like the Jonas Brothers, sorry CL and DH.

Frustrating technical difficulties this am.
Garmin GPS tracked only 8 of the 10+ miles.
Couldn't establish satellite link.
Listened to the new U2 album, which requires several listens,
but could be good.
