RUN for ITP is the brainchild of Chris Tinnesz. Diagnosed with ITP in 2004, Mr. Tinnesz is an amateur athlete and sports enthusiast who, along with the ITP Foundation, has developed a unique plan of action for battling ITP, a rare bleeding disorder. For every mile Chris Runs for ITP, he is raising funds and awareness for the ITP Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to battling Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura through family assistance programs and the funding of medical research. Run for ITP will formally kick off on January 1, 2009.

Ran first race of the winter Boston Build-Up Series this morning.
Good local event, 10K (6.21 miles) around town.
Results not posted yet, but I think I finished 27th at 39:20.
Feel fat and old, need to improve.  I will.
Next run is Tuesday am.
